A unique immersive journey through everyday scenarios where you'll learn to speak for real with other Italian enthusiasts at the welcoming Dome Café in Secret Harbour (meeting room upstairs) and at the next door Secret Harbour Square shopping centre. When: Saturday 23 November 2024 Time: 9:00 am - 12:00 pm Where: Dome Café (Secret Harbour) and Secret Harbour Square shopping centre. You will Master: • Greetings & Introductions: Introduce yourself with confidence. • Ordering Food & Beverages: Practice ordering in a real, welcoming café with a delicious Italian vocabulary. • Shopping Essentials: Navigate real clothing shops with ease and learn how to ask handy questions and get answers. • Giving & Asking for Directions: Find your way around by mastering directional phrases in a real setting. • Thinking in Italian: Discover techniques to start thinking in Italian. • Effective Speaking: Build confidence in speaking with practical role plays. • Listening to Natives: Enhance your comprehension skills with listening activities featuring native speakers. JOIN US FOR LUNCH afterwards to: • Order in Italian guided by your teacher and have a chat with the restaurant owner Giovanni, as if you were in Italy! • Enjoy delicious food such as Homemade pasta, Eggplant Parmigiana, Arancini, and much more! Where: Piccolino Restaurant, 53 Sholl St, Mandurah WA 6210 LEVEL- All levels blend in as you are all practicing conversation in the same scenarios (as it happens in real life). If you are a beginner, you will stick to the sentences you will learn on the day. If you are more experienced, you will brush up on your skills and expand on them also through conversation with teacher Sara. MATERIAL - You will get handouts to guide you through conversations set at the Dome café, Shopping centre, and Restaurant. You will be emailed this material afterwards. COFFEE: Please make sure you save your morning coffee for the workshop and that you order some coffee/food before we start. This way, we will be able to use it to practice Italian making our conversations even more real. *Coffee/food Not Included in the ticket price.
